For our Advertising Solutions Agency based in Ho Chi Minh City, we are looking for a: Artist Supervisor
What you will do:
At the head of a team of artists and acting as the bridge between the team, Producer and the Studio Lead Artist, you will oversee and provide quality graphics and efficient feedbacks related to projects in development for top brands around the globe. You will also train, coach and mentor the artists, driving them to higher and higher level of performance and skills. Your daily work will include:
- Participate in brainstorming in the conception of ideas, and brief creation;
- Define and then showcase the art direction of the game during the pre-production phase;
- Execute game concepts, for media and entertainment;
- Ensure art consistency during all steps of development;
- Join in art production:
@ Create game concepts that will immerse the customers into the client’s universe;
@ Create Environments, Characters, UI, Visual FX and more;
@ Follow the Art Direction and Quality Standards set by the Lead Artist;
@ Follow the briefs, feedback and deadlines from the Producers;
@ Learn and share your knowledge;
- Manage your team of Artists: follow up their assignments, set their objectives, control the quality of their deliveries, define proper working process and organization for best efficiency; inspire, train, coach and mentor the team; evaluate their performance;
- Contribute initiatives to the improvement of the Advertising Solutions division and the Art department. |
| Kỹ năng yêu cầu |
- Academic background in Arts or equivalent; self-taught candidates with great art skills are also welcome!
- Video game experience and expertise is definitely a big plus; passion for video games;
- Versatility: ability to follow and adapt to different stylistic guidelines, and good understanding about these ones;
- Advanced level in 2D Art: Hand-Drawing, Digital Painting, Illustration, Design;
- Great understanding of composition, color, shading, lighting, post-processing;
- Good understanding of human anatomy, proportions and perspectives;
- Good understanding about interfaces and iconography;
- Good understanding about wireframes and layouts;
- Advanced level in Photoshop;
- Possessing artistic eyes, creativity, attention to details, good organization and planning skills, you will ensure high art quality standards, strong capabilities in art concept proposals, and appropriate practical mindset for effective project management (accurate time estimation, priorities management, timely delivery and quality commitment even under high pressure or tight planning, etc);
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Good problem-solving skills;
- Good leadership and team management (2 years or more of working experience in a management position are assets);
- Great teamwork and sense of responsibility;
- English fluency in reading, writing, and verbal communication. |
